Abstract
In this research, the accuracy of diagnosis in remote veterinarian dental examinations is compared with routine procedures in order to examine the efficiency of teledentistry in rural veterinary practices based on the animal models, which are Wistar rats. In an experimental study, diagnostic outcomes were quantified and the capability of teledentistry in delivering quality assessments at distant resource-limited regions was demonstrated. The findings reveal that even if the teledentistry managed to attain diagnostic accuracy similar to the traditional approach, issues of image quality and extended turnaround times were noted. This research adds to the body of evidence available on remote veterinary healthcare, highlighting the necessity of advancement in technology as well as additional research in aiding the enhancement of teledentistry for rural veterinary practice.
