Abstract

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a prominent cause of chronic pain, disability, and low quality of life. Exercise therapy is recommended as the primary conservative intervention in order to restore physical function. This study assessed the effectiveness of exercise therapy in osteoarthritis treatment among 150 patients using clinical assessment tools. The statistical approaches used to analyse the data included descriptive statistics, an independent-samples t-test, a one-way analysis of variance, and multiple linear regression. After exercising, patients reported significant improvements in pain, physical functioning, gait, and overall quality of life. Those who performed exercises regularly had better rehabilitation outcomes than those who did not receive regular exercise therapy. Multiple regression analysis revealed exercise frequency, supervision by a physiotherapist, and patient compliance as important predictors of rehabilitation effectiveness.
